Holbein Artists' Watercolors

Holbein is known as the industry leader because of their world-class line of transparent watercolours.
The colours have excellent lightfastness, colour vigor and brush handling capabilities.
Holbein watercolours have a consistent creamy texture that moves slowly permitting greater colour density and brush control due to the absence of ox-gall, animal by-products or other dispersing agents that normally inhibit the flow of paint.
When dry, the paint remains smooth and does not crack, crumble or chip.
Paint left in the palette will not mold and may be re-wetted anytime, making it similar to a pan watercolour when its dry.
Holbein watercolours produce brilliant transparent washes, ideal for painting in the Japanese watercolour tradition, as well as powerful clean darks when used in a more concentrated application.
They are available in a wide range of colours in a 15ml tube.
