Golden Heavy Body Acrylics
Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Colours are known for their exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency. They contain no additives, the largest assortment of pure pigment suspended in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle. These colours offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added to the paint. Each Heavy Body colour is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colours that tolerate higher pigment loads dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colours that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent.
Golden Iridescent Acrylics may be used alone can be mixed other colours, gels and mediums. Iridescent Pearl is extremely useful for mixing with other colours if a pearlescent quality is required. The Iridescent Bronze, Silver, Gold and Copper develop non-tarnishing metallic finishes. Stainless Steel and Micaceous Iron Oxide are made with highly reflective metallic pigments. Most of the Iridescent Acrylics are available in Fine and Coarse. These are available in a 2oz. tube.
Golden Interference Colours flip between a bright opalescent colour and its opalescent complement. When they are applied over white or lighter surfaces, the interference colour is less obvious and the "flip" effect is more obvious. When applied over black or darker surfaces, the interference color is more obvious and the "flip" effect is less obvious. Adding a very small amount of black to interference colors produces deeper opalescent effects. Combine interference colors with Golden Gels (Gloss) and Golden Fluid Acrylic colors to produce an endless variety of colours and effects. Most interference colors are available in Fine or Coarse.
